No Country For Old Men Logo

These are some logos for characters in the film No Country For Old Men. The top logo is based on the main character Anton, the idea being that he decides whether he is going to kill people based o flipping a coin. The bottom logo is based around a much smaller character in the film, the Gas Station owner that Anton toys with and because he picks the right side of the coin then his life is saved.

Ian Anderson Brief

We were given a brief to rename The Designers Republic's Ian Anderson and had to produce a poster informing prople of the change. Afet reading some interviews I got the impression that he was an outspoken and extroverted individual, I decided to call him Greg Arious. Gregarious means outgoing, sociable and extrovert so i felt that this fitted in well with his personality.
The theme and design of the poster is based upon 80's futuristic design which the designers republic tried to use in their early work.
